The Los Angeles Rams are a bit thin along the offensive line heading into Week 1 after losing Alaric Jackson to a two-game suspension and possibly Rob Havenstein for the opener due to an ankle injury. With only eight offensive linemen on the 53-man roster, the Rams added some depth up front.
The team announced Monday that offensive tackle Blake Larson has been signed to the practice squad. Larson was with the Rams this offseason but was waived during the first round of roster cuts.
He’s one of four linemen on the practice squad for Los Angeles and one of them could be promoted to the active roster if Havenstein misses Week 1.
