One day before hosting the Seattle Seahawks, the Los Angeles Rams have activated two more players from the reserve/COVID-19 list. Bobby Evans and Troy Reeder are officially back, being removed from the list on Monday morning.
That trims the list of players on COVID reserve to 20 names, down from the 29 who were on there as of Friday. The top players who are still on the list include Von Miller, Jordan Fuller, Rob Havenstein and Tyler Higbee.
Reeder has played significant snaps at linebacker this season, though he has recently been surpassed by Ernest Jones in the pecking order. He’s still someone who will contribute in base 3-4 sets, however, so having him back against the Seahawks helps the linebacker depth.
Evans is a backup guard/tackle who could step in if neither Havenstein nor Joe Noteboom is activated ahead of Tuesday’s game. If the Rams are forced to move David Edwards or Austin Corbett to tackle, Evans could step in at guard. Or he could even get the start at right tackle himself.
