Lakers guard Rajon Rondo left the bubble a few weeks ago after breaking his hand in practice, which required surgery.
However, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports and the NBA on TNT reported that Rondo has already made his return to Florida and has been working out with Lakers front office staffer Kurt Rambis.
The hope, according to Haynes, is to have Rondo back in the NBA Bubble at some point during the first round of the playoffs, which start next Monday.
The Lakers will face the winner of the Western Conference play-in series, which already has a Game 1 scheduled for Saturday
