Friday brought a couple surprises to the injury report. The first was Trent Brown suddenly missing practice with a knee injury and being questionable for the game. The second was Lamarcus Joyner removed from the injury report entirely despite being limited all week with a hamstring injury.
Had Brown suffered the knee injury in practice, he would have been listed as limited one of the days. He was a full particpant on Wednesday and Thursday an suddenly was not practicing which suggests the knee acted up at some point enough to have the team sit him out so as to not risk further injury to it.
Paul Guenther said Thursday that Joyner was 100% and would play. He had missed the past two weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered on the final drive of the team’s Thursday Night win over the Chargers.
The Chiefs will be without running back Damien Williams with a rib injury. He is the only player listed on the Chiefs injury report.
