Raiders WR Tyrell Williams has torn labrum, hopes to play through it

Coming off an injury-plagued season in 2019, Raiders’ wide receiver Tyrell Williams was hoping to head into this season fully healthy. It appears now that will not happen.
The sixth-year wideout has a torn labrum according to multiple reports, including ESPN’s Josina Anderson who quotes Williams’s agent who said doctors suggest he will be out the next couple of weeks.
Last season Williams was to be the team’s number one receiver, but would suffer a plantar fascia injury in his foot in the first game and was hindered by the injury all season long.
His 651 yards on 42 catches was his lowest output since becoming a full-time starter in 2016
