Heading into Week 12, the Raiders had a big challenge ahead of them as they were facing a top-10 defense. That got even tougher when Darren Waller was quickly ruled out with two different injuries.
But the offense was able to find ways to have success through the air. DeSean Jackson kicked the game off with a long touchdown and he drew multiple other flags. However, the clear winner of this game is none other than Hunter Renfrow.
Before this game, Renfrow had just two games in his career in which he went over 90 receiving yards. Both of those games came in 2019 as he torched the Chargers and Broncos for 107 and 102 yards, respectfully.
Renfrow had the biggest game of his career on Thursday, catching eight passes for 134 yards. The biggest play of his was a 54-yard reception that led to a field goal to put the Raiders up 30-22. He would go on to catch another key pass late in the fourth quarter to get the Raiders in field goal range once again.
Without Henry Ruggs, Renfrow has become one of the most important players on the team. After a quiet game in Week 11, he bounced back in a big way when his team needed him the most. It was a much-needed performance by the third-year receiver from Clemson.
