One of the most important days on the NFL calendar each season is when the rookie rankings are revealed for the upcoming Madden video game. Well, not really. But it is fun to see how the game views the upcoming rookies entering the 2020 season.
On Friday, EA Sports released their ratings for the upcoming rookie receivers and not surprisingly, Henry Ruggs of the Las Vegas Raiders tops the list with an overall ranking of 78. Take a look at the rest of the rookie receivers below:

As you can see above, Ruggs has a speed rating of 98. And according to ESPN’s Field Yates, only Tyreek Hill (99) was given a higher speed grade than what Ruggs will have during the 2020-2021 version of the game. A few other notable stats for Ruggs include a 97 acceleration rating, 83 catch rating and 94 jump.
It’s also worth noting that third-round pick Bryan Edwards was given an overall rating of 70 as he was tied with the likes of Chase Claypool, Denzel Mims and KJ Hamler.
