Things went from bad to worse for the Raiders in Week 5. Not only did they fail to get the win in Kansas City after leading 17-0, but they could be without their star receiver when they return from the bye week.
According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, Davante Adams is facing a possible suspension for shoving a cameraman on his way to the tunnel in Arrowhead. That occurred quickly after the game and was captured by ESPN’s crew.
#Raiders WR Davante Adams is facing NFL discipline — and potentially even a suspension — for shoving a man to the ground after Monday night’s loss to the #Chiefs, per sources.
The league is reviewing the situation. Adams apologized through the media and again on Twitter.

Adams had a huge game in Week 5, catching two touchdowns for the Raiders. He also drew multiple pass interference calls that led to touchdowns. Adams was clearly frustrated after the way the game ended as he and Hunter Renfrow collided on the final offensive play for the Raiders.
Still, there is no reason for what Adams did and a suspension does seem likely. Look for the NFL to announce their decision in the upcoming days and for the Raiders to be without their star receiver in Week 7 when they return from their bye week.
