After a disappointing loss in Week 7, the Raiders bounced back in a big way in Week 8. In a crucial AFC matchup, the Raiders defeated the Browns in Cleveland this week. Las Vegas ran the ball all game long against a good Browns’ defense as Josh Jacobs went over 100 yards.
The Browns had a chance to cut the score down to seven-points late in the fourth quarter, but a missed field goal by Cody Parkey essentially ended the game. The Raiders were able to run out most of the clock as they held the Browns to only six points all day.
The Raiders now sit at 4-3 and are in a good spot to make a run at a Wild Card spot in the AFC. With a tiebreaker now over Cleveland, this could prove to be a much-needed win by the end of the season. The Raiders will take on the Chargers in Week 9 in Los Angeles.
Here are your offensive leaders for the Raiders in Week 8:
Leading Passer: QB Derek Carr – 15 of 24 for 112 yards, 1 TD
Leading Rusher: RB Josh Jacobs – 30 carries for 125 yards
Leading Receiver: TE Darren Waller – 5 catches for 28 yards
