Last week in New Orleans the Raiders saw their second best ratios of offense to defensive snaps. This week the pendulum swung hard in the other direction.
The Raiders defense saw a season-high 75 snaps compared to the offense which saw a season-low 51 snaps. And the Chargers nearly doubled up the Raiders in time of possession 38:58 to 21:02. That is a road map to failure.
With that kind of disparity, there’s really no wonder the Chargers had a 34-13 lead late in the game before giving up a garbage time touchdown.
