Pro: Deep Accuracy
Love’s best trait is his deep ball accuracy. He throws dimes all over the field 20+ air yards, especially to the middle of the field. His aggressiveness is littered all over his film, with him immediately looking deep when the first read is not there.

In the four games I charted, Love’s accuracy percentage of passes 20+ air yards was 60%, which is one of the highest marks I have graded. Accuracy with deep passes translates well to the NFL, and Love checks that box.
Pro: Arm Talent
One of the first items you notice when watching Love is his arm talent. Love has plenty of zip on his passes and can fit passes into tight windows. He can make throws at every level of the field and never lose velocity on the football, playing in the wind or cold weather.
At the Senior Bowl, he exhibited this trait at a high level during the windy days in Mobile and was able to catch scout’s eyes with the ball whistling through the wind like a referee. His arm will have scouts foaming at the mouth and wanting to take a chance on the former Aggie.
Pro: Pocket Presence
Love played behind an awful offensive line and was able to manage the pocket well. He has a beautiful ability to feel pressure and knows when to roll out or make slight movements in the pocket. Love is fearless under duress and willing to take big hits to make big plays.
The former Aggie makes highlight throws on tape when pressured, helping move the football with explosive passes. The scrambling ability is an added plus slipping out of the pocket at the right time and running for extra yards. NFL scouts will love his toughness and competitive nature and part of the reason he is regarded as a first-round pick.
