Sunday the Raiders took the field with Josh Jacobs 43 yards from hitting the 1000-yard mark for his rookie season. He hit that mark before half time.
Just 8 carries into the game, Jacobs already had 55 yards. The Raiders had yet to get any points out of it, but it was clear that if that was going to change, it would go through Jacobs.
The Raiders have never had a rookie running back go for over 1000 yards. Jacobs had already passed up Marcus Allen to become the franchise all-time leading rookie rusher. He hits 1000 yards faster than any rookie running back this season.
