The Madden 21 ratings are out. Well, they’re trickling out. Today we are seeing the running back ratings. So, we see how they view Josh Jacobs heading into his second season. They seem to respect his skills pretty highly.
Jacobs’s highest rating is his ability to break tackles. In that area he was given a 94 rating, which is second best in the league behind Nick Chubb.

Jacobs’s break tackles rating behind Chubbs matches that of Pro Football Focus which put them at one and two in elusive rating last season. And Jacobs averaged 3.5 yards after contact.
Where he doesn’t make the top ten is speed rating.

Jacobs ran a 4.6 40-yard-dash at his pro day, which certainly affected how his speed is judged.
All things considered, Jacobs’s final Madden 21 rating is an 88 which lands him at ninth among NFL backs, tied with Saints RB Alvin Kamara.
Zeke with a 92 rating and Saquon with a 91.

Jacobs was the favorite for Rookie of the Year last season, rushing for 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games. If he can do it again, or improve upon it, he will creep up those Madden ratings. Top ten is still pretty good after one season in the league.
