Raiders RB Ameer Abdullah has first career 100-yard rushing game

Week 17 in New Orleans, Raiders RB Ameer Abdullah gets his first 100-yard game in his tenth NFL season

Hard to believe, but Ameer Abdullah has spent ten seasons in the NFL, and had never run for more than 100 yards in a game. Today he finally can check that box.

Late in the third quarter in New Orleans, Abdullah sat wth 99 yards on the day. He got the handoff and went for eight yards to push past the 100-yard mark for the first time ever.

By the end of the drive, he had 115 yards on 20 carries. Along with his three catches for 32 yards, he had 147 yards from scrimmage.

The Raiders would end the drive with a field goal to take a 16-10 lead over the Saints.

Those 147 yards from scrimmage would be his final numbers. He had 229 yards rushing coming in, which means he had more than half his previous season total in one game.

The Raiders would beat the Saints 25-10 to get their fourth win of the season and second straight.
