After a disappointing camp, the Raiders have placed linebacker Tanner Muse on the injured reserve list. Muse has dealt with a toe injury and will now miss the first three games of the season, at least, to start the year.
The #Raiders are putting promising rookie LB Tanner Muse on injured reserve because of a toe injury, source said. The plan is for the third-round pick — who turns 24 today — to return this season, but he’s likely to miss at least a month.

Muse wasn’t expected to play much as a rookie after the team signed and traded for three linebackers this season. This move opens up a roster spot that will likely be used on Sam Young.
