Raiders PK Daniel Carlson named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

There were a lot of players on the Raiders’ team that helped contribute to the win on Sunday.
However, one player that hasn’t gotten enough credit for his performance was kicker Daniel Carlson. He was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week by the NFL and it was certainly warranted.
With the rest of the league struggling mightily on field goals and extra points, Carlson couldn’t have been more reliable for the Raiders.
He made all six of his kicks, including a key 54-yard make to give the team a 20-15 lead.
He’s not Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens, but Carlson is among the better kickers in the NFL. He’s now made four of his six kicks beyond 50 yards in his NFL career
