A few weeks ago, the Raiders were the No.6 seed in the AFC and held another top-12 first-round pick with the Bears struggling. But the Bears have stabilized some after winning back-to-back games against the Giants and Lions.
But with both teams not likely to make the playoffs, it appears that the Raiders will own two picks inside of the top-20. According to Tankathon, Oakland currently holds the No. 16 and No. 18 picks in the first round of 2020 draft, through 13 weeks of the regular season.
Oakland has a bunch of needs heading into the 2020 offseason, especially on the defensive side of the ball. But don’t be surprised if the team selects a wide receiver in the first round to pair with Tyrell Williams.
Either way, having two first-round picks inside the top-20 will be a nice consolation prize if the Raiders don’t make the playoffs.
