Most coaches don’t want to put too much on the plate of a rookie early in their career. Usually, they will allow rookies to settle into one position and ease them onto the field.
But that hasn’t been the case so far with Dylan Parham as the Raiders have used him all over the offensive line.
In a recent article by Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus, he ranked all 32 offensive lines heading into Week 7. When talking about the Raiders, he mentioned how versatile Parham has been through five games:
“Rookie Dylan Parham has played at least 60 snaps in three different positions along the interior of the Raiders’ line this season.”
Parham has graded out particularly well at guard, but not so much at center. With Andre James back in the lineup, he shouldn’t have to play there anytime soon. But the trick now is finding out what guard spot he is better at moving forward.
