Two days after the 2024 NFL season came to a close, the Raiders fired head coach Antonio Pierce. Thus making GM Tom Telesco’s first priority this offseason to find the team’s next head coach.

Here are a the candidates who have been rumored or reported so far:

Lions OC Ben Johnson

Raiders have requested an interview with him.

Virtual interview with Johnson is scheduled for Friday, January 10.

Lions DC Aaron Glenn

Raiders have requested an interview with him.

Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo

Raiders have requested an interview with him.

The Jets have also requested an interview with him.

Ravens OC Todd Monken

Raiders have requested an interview with him.

North Carolina HC Bill Belichick

Raiders have inquired if he would back out of his new contract at UNC and return to the NFL. Raiders minority owner Tom Brady is said to have spoken with Belichick in recent days.

Former Titans HC Mike Vrabel

No reports out yet, but with Tom Brady said to be involved in finding the Raiders next head coach, you can bet Brady’s longtime teammate with the Patriots will receive interest.

The Bears completed an interview with Vrabel.
