Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby tied for NFL lead with 19 pressures

Micah Parsons. T.J. Watt. Myles Garrett. Nick Bosa. Those are the four names that are always mentioned when it comes to the best EDGE rushers in the NFL. They get a ton of media attention and deservedly so as they are all fantastic players.

However, Maxx Crosby continues to be one of the league’s most underrated players. Once again, he is atop the league in pressures after three weeks despite drawing double teams at an absurd rate.

According to Pro Football Focus, Crosby is tied for the most QB pressures (19) after three weeks with Aidan Hutchison (Lions) and T.J. Watt (Steelers).

The Raiders are hopeful that Tyree Wilson will eventually be able to help create pressure on the other side. It doesn’t feel like Chandler Jones will be back on the field anytime soon and the Raiders desperately need someone else to help Crosby out on the defensive line. Crosby continues to be one of the league’s best pass rushers. It’s time to get him some help.
