The Raiders absolutely needed a win in Week 7 and they got one. After going back and forth with the Texans, the Raiders were able to pull away in the fourth quarter.

The story of the game was Josh Jacobs, who rushed for three touchdowns on Sunday. He is the first running back in the history of the Raiders to have three straight games with 100+ rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. He’s having the best start to his career as he is set to hit free agency in 2023.

Davante Adams had another big game for the Raiders, making several key receptions on third down. He finished the game with eight catches for 95 yards on just nine targets.

The game was capped off with a pick-six by Duron Harmon, who intercepted Davis Mills with the game still hanging in the balance. That gave the Raiders an 18-point lead with just around three minutes off the clock. It was the big defensive play the Raiders were waiting for all game long.

The Raiders will take on the Saints in Week 8 as both teams look to improve to 3-4. And with the AFC looking weaker than expected, the Raiders are somehow still in the mix after a rough start to the year.
