After back-to-back losses and the dismissal of Jon Gruden, the Raiders got a much-needed win. Interim head coach Rich Bisaccia got the first win of his career as he was promoted after the Gruden resignation. His team came out of the game fired up, playing arguably their best game of the season.
They completely dominated the Broncos in Denver as the offense took over. Derek Carr had his best performance in weeks, connecting with Henry Ruggs III on multiple deep shots down the field. He finished the game with 341 yards, tossing two touchdowns.
The defense for the Raiders was fantastic in this game, forcing four turnovers. The unit was flying all over the field while getting pressure on Teddy Bridgewater. It might have been their best performance of the season to date.
Sitting at 4-2, the Raiders will now host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7. The Raiders also sit atop of the AFC West, tied with the Chargers for the best record in the division. Needless to say, this was a big win for the Raiders.
