Missing his third straight week will be Raiders TE Darren Waller. Three weeks is the minimum time a player takes when placed on injured reserve. But the Raiders have spent the past week thinking their Pro Bowl tight end might return. And as important as he is to the offense, they didn’t want to risk missing him for even on game they didn’t have to. Now they will be without him for three.
“He still has some particular pain in those same areas when he tries to cut and change directions,” Interim Head Coach Rich Bisaccia said of Waller. “Trust me, we would love to him at anytime we can possibly get him.
“some lingering pain the more he tried to accelerate on the treadmill, the more he tried to accelerate outside. Yesterday he felt like he did probably the best day he had going forward.”
It’s just gotten to a stagnant point where he hasn’t gotten over the hump with whatever the pain is in the knee.”
Also missing for his second straight game will be LB Denzel Perryman. As important as Waller is to the offense, Perryman might be more important to the defense.
Waller and Perryman will be re-joined by CB Trayvon Mullen whose return from injured reserve last just over one half. Now he’s out again.

The Browns are depleted to say the least. Not only are the facing the very real possibility of being without several starters who were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, but they will be without three players to injury. OUT are RB Kareem Hunt, CB Greg Newsome, and WR Anthony Schwartz.
