Raiders blown out in Buffalo, lose 38-10 to Bills

After winning on the road last week, the Raiders were unable to do so in Week 2. They were blown out by the Bills, who looked significantly better after an ugly overtime loss to the Jets. It was a 38-10 loss for the Raiders, as they were outscored 38-3 after the third drive of the game.

The biggest story of the game was the defense of the Raiders. The Bills moved the ball up and down the field in Week 2 as the Raiders didn’t offer much resistance at all. Not only did the Bills score 38 points, but they also totaled 450 yards of offense. It was a brutal day for the defense as they just couldn’t get off the field.

The worst part of this game for the Raiders (besides the loss) was all of the injuries. Davante Adams left the game late in the fourth quarter with a head injury. Jakorian Bennett left with a knee injury. And Marcus Epps left with a quad injury. It was a costly loss for the Raiders in both the standings and with their roster.

The Raiders will take on the Steelers in Week 3 of the NFL season. That will be their first home game of the year and it’s a primetime game on Sunday Night Football on NBC. Pittsburgh and Las Vegas played last year, with the Steelers getting a last-second win at home.
