Raiders blown out by Chiefs 48-9, drop to 6-7

From the moment the game kicked off, the Raiders had no chance. On the very first offensive play of the game for Las Vegas, Josh Jacobs fumbled the ball and it was returned for a touchdown by the Chiefs.

At halftime, the score was 35-3 in favor of the Chiefs with the only score for the Raiders coming on the last play of the second half. It was a complete no-show by the Raiders, who have lost five of their last six games.

The Raiders managed to score just nine points and gave up 48. The defense could not get a stop all day as Kansas City was able to move the ball at will. The Raiders totaled just 293 yards of offense, but they had a season-high five turnovers.

The Raiders will take on the Browns in Week 15. That game will be played in Cleveland on Saturday at 4:30 PM ET. With the Raiders sitting at 6-7, it’s essentially a playoff game for Las Vegas. They’ll need a win to have any hope of making the playoffs this year.
