Raheem Mostert limited in run game, still making plays

The 49ers’ do-everything running back impacted the game despite a relatively light offensive game.

The 49ers didn’t use their do-everything running back much on offense Saturday through the first three quarters, but he still found a way to impact the game.

On a Mitch Wishnowsky punt, Vikings punt returner Marcus Sherels had the ball bounce off his pads and fall to the turf. Mostert was there to dive on it at the 10.

Mostert has 12 carries for 58 yards, but he’s been out of the game near the goal line, where Tevin Coleman has been the go-to back. Mostert’s fumble recovery resulted in a 49ers field goal to put them up 27-10 early in the fourth quarter.
