Sunday morning, I wrote about why it was time to for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to acknowledge that rookie Rachaad White was the best running back on the roster.
It looks like they agreed, as the third-round pick out of Arizona State started Sunday’s game in Munich against the Seattle Seahawks ahead of veteran Leonard Fournette, who signed a sizable three-year contract extension this offseason.
That opportunity was rewarded with a stellar performance, as White carried the ball 22 times for 104 yards, helping the Bucs score a 21-16 victory over the NFC West leaders.
White punctuated his breakout game with multiple big plays, including a devastating stiff-arm that sent social media into a frenzy, and a pair of big runs on the final drive that put the game away.
