Quinton Dunbar made some ironic quotes hours before having warrant issued for arrest

Hours before a warrant was issued for his arrest, Dunbar told the Seahawks media he wanted to carry himself as a good person in Seattle.

Former Washington Redskins cornerback Quinton Dunbar participated in a video conference with members of the Seattle Seahawks media on Thursday morning, and the events that have transpired since that took place have made the whole situation quite ironic.

While Dunbar chatted with media members on Thursday morning and answered questions about his fit in Seattle, and the upcoming season, just hours later, it came out that a warrant had been issued for Dunbar’s arrest in Florida, as he had allegedly participated in an armed robbery at gunpoint the night before. This is made especially ironic based on a few things that Dunbar had to say earlier in the day, specifically about carrying himself as a good person in Seattle.

The future for Dunbar is now uncertain after he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks for a fifth-round pick. It is unclear whether he will play at all during the 2020 season as the legal system will likely take action, and he is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2021.
