Quinton Dunbar isn’t thrilled about his Pro Bowl snub

Does Quinton Dunbar have a point?

Washington Redskins cornerback Quinton Dunbar isn’t happy with the fact he hasn’t been named to the Pro Bowl.

Early this week, Pro Bowl additions were announced as the Super Bowl teams were solidified and other players backed out. Notably, Minnesota cornerback Xavier Rhodes got named to the NFC team despite a season of struggles.

And Dunbar isn’t happy he’s not on the list, which makes sense. Though he only played in 11 games, Dunbar was a bright spot for the Redskins in a rebuilding secondary and even earned some honors at Pro Football Focus for his efforts.

So it seems to go for players on a struggling team though. The Pro Bowl selection process hasn’t been anything more notable than a popularity contest as of late, which one could be argued is referenced here.
