The Commanders won Sunday night riding on the back of Jayden Daniels, defeating the Atlanta Falcons 30-24 at Northwest Stadium in Landover.

- The Commanders’ 11th win of 2024 is the first time the franchise has enjoyed 11 wins since the 1991 Super Bowl championship season. All other NFL teams since 1991 have enjoyed at least two seasons of 11 wins.
- With the win and Green Bay’s 27-25 loss at Minnesota, the Commanders move into the sixth NFC Playoff seed. They can clinch the sixth seed with a season-ending win over Dallas.
- The Falcons outplayed the Commanders in the first half. At halftime, the Falcons led in first downs 16-8, rushing yards 101-47, passing yards 98-69, total yards 199-116, and penalty yards 10 to Washington’s 50.
- With his three passing touchdowns, Jayden Daniels became the eighth rookie quarterback in NFL history to have five straight games with at least two touchdown passes.
- Coming into the game, the Commanders were successful on 16 of 19 4th downs, 2nd best in the NFL. The Commanders were 3-3 on 4th downs Sunday night against the Falcons. They are now 19 of 22 on 4th downs in 2024.
- Robert Griffin previously had the record for most rushing yards by a rookie quarterback (815). Jayden Daniels passed Griffin tonight by rushing for 127 yards on 16 carries.

- Beginning playing in their current stadium in 1997, the Commanders tonight won their 7th home game of the season for the first time at Northwest Stadium.
- For the first time in his career, Jayden Daniels passed for over 200 yards (227) while rushing for over 100 yards (127).
