Quandre Diggs calls Bijan Robinson the best player in the 2023 NFL draft

Pete Carroll does have a history of acquiring former Longhorns to become Seahawks

One of the most active Seattle Seahawks players on social media is Pro Bowl safety Quandre Diggs. His loyalty to the Seahawks was evident during his constant lobbying during free agency, especially to bring back Bobby Wagner.

However, Diggs’ loyalty also clearly extends to his alma mater: the University of Texas. Diggs still shows his love for his Longhorns, such as who he thinks the best player in the draft is.

Diggs’ burnt orange colored lenses can certainly be forgiven, as Bijan Robinson is obviously the best running back prospect in the draft. During his three years at the Forty Acres, Robinson was a one-man wrecking crew to Big XII defenses. Robinson accumulated 41 total touchdowns, 33 of which came on the ground – including 18 last year alone.

The Seahawks already seem to have their running back for the foreseeable future in Kenneth Walker III, so it seems unlikely Robinson will be wearing the navy and neon of Seattle. Although, Pete Carroll does have a history of acquiring former Longhorns to become Seahawks, and it’s well documented how much emphasis he puts on running the ball…

Perhaps Seattle shocks the NFL world and uses their No. 5 pick in a rather unpredictable – yet very “Seahawks-y” way – come draft day.
