Richard Sherman and Quandre Diggs missed playing together on the back end of the Seahawks’ defense by a few years. They have still managed to find some common ground, though.
Earlier today Diggs was tweeting about running a conditioning test and how he doesn’t miss them.
Ran somebody else’s conditioning test today and boy I do not miss those dumb ass test!

Diggs says Pete Carroll does not force players to do them, opting to treat his players like professionals – perhaps drawing a contrast to other coaches that Diggs has played before who’s name rhymes with Matt Patricia.
Well we don’t have one Pete treats us like grown ass professionals! https://t.co/YYevRPyLMg

That led to an extended conversation with Sherman, who called conditioning tests the most asinine thing to do before training camp starts.
That part! Never had a conditioning test. Literally the most asinine thing to do to a team BEFORE a training camp. Hey lets run you until your legs are dead then lets practice as hard as you can everyday after. Scientific lmao https://t.co/LFZP2ivNkx

Exactly Sherm! If you can’t trust guys to be professionals and to be in shape then I don’t want those guys lining up next to me as a player and as a coach you shouldn’t want to coach em!

Exactly! What do you learn but running a 300lbs man 2,000 yards? You learn that its a terrible idea and should be eradicated https://t.co/m9ZUktfWEs

‼️ i’ve seen them really cut OL cause they couldn’t run that test and they were proven vets!

Imagine a track team running their hardest workouts right before a meet. The poor performances and injuries wouldnt be a suprise. But for some reason in the NFL its a suprise they have soft tissue injuries early in camp after all of that running. Smh https://t.co/gXix9JiWj1

Right on.
The Seahawks report to training camp on Tuesday and the first practice open to the public will be Wednesday.
