Quarterback Deshaun Watson was not present for the second straight Houston Texans training camp practice.

According to video from Mark Berman of Fox 26 [KRIV-TV], Watson was not present for the individual portion of Texans practice.

After Tuesday’s practice at Houston Methodist Training Center, coach David Culley said that Watson remained “day-to-day.”

“Well, as I said before, we’re day-to-day with it,” Culley said. “The only thing that’s changed from the standpoint of that is we make decisions every day based on what’s best for our football team, and I’m going to leave it at that.”

Watson is dealing with a foot injury. On Monday, Watson left in the middle of practice and had trainers look at his foot.

The three-time Pro Bowler is in a protracted standoff with the organization since his trade request in late January. The Texans and Watson reached detente when the former 2017 first-round pick reported to training camp, avoiding a $50,000 per day fine.
