The Arizona Cardinals will face the Houston Texans at home in Week 7. The Texans have had rookie Davis Mills as their starting quarterback for the last four games, as Tyrod Taylor injured his hamstring in Week 2 and is currently on injured reserve.
Taylor is eligible to return but, as of now has not been designated to return, giving him the opportunity to practice. He might be later this week, but Texans head coach David Culley made it clear when he spoke to reporters Wednesday.
Mills will start against the Cardinals this week.
The Texans are 0-4 in Mills’ four starts this season. He has completed 63.3% of his passes this season for 912 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions. He has been sacked 13 times.
His numbers would look significantly worse were it not for his 312-yard, three-touchdown performance against the New England Patriots.
Take that start away and in three starts, he would have 600 passing yards, two touchdown passes and seven picks.
