The New York Giants will host the Arizona Cardinals this week in Week 14. Instead of a full practice to start the week on Wednesday, they held a walkthrough. They still released an injury report but it is only estimated because they did not hold a full practice.
On the report, three players were listed as non-participants and two were limited.
Starting quarterback Daniel Jones (hamstring) was one who was limited. It is not known yet whether he will be able to play, although head coach Joe Judge said earlier this week Jones would be given every opportunity to prove he can play and protect himself from further injury.
The Giants’ three non-participants were defensive back Madre Harper (knee), linebacker Blake Martinez (back) and tackle Matt Peart (ankle). Martinez is expected to recover in time to play, although his injury gave people a scare on Sunday.
In addition to Jones being limited, safety Darnell Holmes also was limited with a knee injury.
Did not participate:
- DB Madre Harper (knee)
- LB Blake Martinez (back)
- T Matt Peart (ankle)
Limited participation:
- S Darnell Holmes (knee)
- QB Daniel Jones (hamstring)
