PURDUE (+105) is a decent play straight up on the road against underperforming Wisconsin (-125), but this comes with plenty of risk. The Boilermakers haven’t beaten the Badgers in 15 consecutive meetings dating back to Oct. 18, 2003, a 26-23 win in Madison. Of course, we haven’t seen a Wisconsin team struggle this much at any point during the span.
Look for the Boilermakers to finally get the monkey off their backs and get it done against the Badgers.
Against the spread
PURDUE +1.5 (-107) is a better play straight up at plus-money, unless you’re dead-set on this being a 1-point victory by Wisconsin. That’s the only way this play makes sense.
Over/Under
UNDER 51.5 (-110) is the lean, but very careful and play this extremely lightly.
The Under is 19-9 in Purdue’s past 28 games on the road, and 5-1 in the past 6 against teams with a losing overall record.
