5 Thursday Night Football prop bets to make in Week 5
Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Wednesday at 4:55 p.m. ET.
Buccaneers WR Mike Evans OVER 60.5 yards receiving (-115)
Bucs WR Chris Godwin has already been ruled out for this one, which means most of QB Tom Brady‘s attention will turn toward Evans – who’s listed as questionable. Considering he finished last week’s game after injuring his ankle, there’s hope he’ll be able to give it a go Thursday.
If he does, he’s a good bet to go over 60.5 yards receiving, as he has twice this season.
Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski to score a TD (+160)
Gronkowski has to find the end zone at some point, doesn’t he? This feels like a good week for him to do it, with TE O.J. Howard on IR and Godwin out. Brady will look his way at least once in the red zone and give him an opportunity to score for the first time this year. At +160, the line comes with a nice reward if we see a Gronk Spike, too.

Buccaneers QB Tom Brady OVER 1.5 TD passes (-139)
Brady has thrown at least two touchdown passes in three of his four games this year, and he’ll make it four of five Thursday night. The Bears may have a strong secondary, but the size of Evans and Gronkowski could prove difficult for Chicago in the red area.
WR Allen Robinson first TD scorer for Bears (+400)
Robinson should be QB Nick Foles‘ favorite target, especially inside the 20-yard line. The Bears don’t have a rushing touchdown yet this season, which is a good trend for Robinson heading into this one. The Bears won’t score often, but Robinson will be the first to find the end zone for them Thursday.
Bears to score UNDER 16.5 points (+175)
The Bears looked inept on offense last week against the Indianapolis Colts, and now they’ll face a Bucs defense with a strong pass rush and quality linebackers. Chicago has struggled against better defenses this season and won’t top 16 points against the Bucs, who rank eighth in points allowed.
