Prop Bets Payday: Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers prop bets to make in Week 4

Highlighting five Monday Night Football prop bets to make as the Atlanta Falcons take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 4.

The Atlanta Falcons (0-3) and Green Bay Packers (3-0) meet on Monday Night Football in Week 4 in what would have been a marquee NFC clash if not for the Falcons’ disappointing start to the year. Kickoff at Lambeau Field will be at 8:50 p.m. ET with the game being pushed back due to the rescheduling of the New England Patriots-Kansas City Chiefs game.

Below, we give you five player/team prop bets to consider for the Falcons and Packers on MNF from the BetMGM game menu.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers OVER 276.5 passing yards (-112)

Rodgers has thrown for totals of 364, 240 and 283 yards through his first three games of the year, all while completing 67% of his passes. The Falcons are allowing 362.7 passing yards per game through three weeks and Chicago Bears QBs Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles combined to throw for 300-plus yards in Week 3.

With this game carrying an Over/Under of 56.5 points, look for both teams to air it out. Rodgers will go OVER 276.5 passing yards (-112).

Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers both to record 300-plus passing yards (+265)

Unlike the Falcons, the Packers haven’t allowed a 300-yard passer yet this season; however, the Falcons don’t have the ground attack of the Packers’ previous opponents. Look for Ryan to continue carrying the weight of the offense with WRs Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley reportedly being ruled active Monday morning.

First touchdown for the Packers: TE Robert Tonyan (+800)

The Falcons have been victimized by opposing tight ends this season, giving up 1.3 touchdowns per game to the position. They gave up two to Bears TE Jimmy Graham last week and have given up 10 targets to TEs each of the last two games. Tonyan has a touchdown catch in each of the last two weeks and his role will continue to grow with Packers WRs Davante Adams and Allen Lazard being ruled out.

Packers RB Aaron Jones to score 2-plus touchdowns (+120)

This pick comes with the Packers being favored by 6 points on the spread and the expectation they’ll control the game and will run out the clock in the fourth quarter. Of course, it also factors in Jones’ five total touchdowns through three weeks and Green Bay’s diminished receiving corps. The Falcons have allowed four total touchdowns to RBs.

First-quarter spread: Falcons +2.5 (-128)

The Packers have trailed after 15 minutes in each of their three games while the Falcons infamously held the lead after the first quarter in each of their last two games. Expect Atlanta’s struggles to continue without a coaching change and look for the Falcons to keep it close early in the game.
