For any fan of the Washington Redskins, it’s hard to find something to say about Ohio State’s Chase Young that hasn’t already been said before.
He’s the best prospect in the 2020 draft. He’s the most dynamic edge rusher to come out of Ohio State in over a decade. He’s better than both Joey and Nick Bosa.
You’ve heard it all before. Sure, it’s exciting if you are of the camp that the Redskins will draft Young with the No. 2 overall pick in April, but it doesn’t exactly present any new information.
But now, Pro Football Focus is putting a label on Young that may cause to perk your ears up…
They’re calling him the best edge prospect in recent memory.

In the piece, which breaks down how Young’s career might develop once in the NFL, PFF states that, while it is tough to directly translate college success to projections in the NFL, Young has a unique skill set that should allow him to be a high-impact for the Redskins in his first year with the team, should they select him.
