The Pac-12 women’s basketball regular season has come to an end and the conference tournament begins on Wednesday. The Colorado Buffaloes, Arizona Wildcats, Stanford Cardinal and Utah Utes all got first-round byes and will play their quarterfinal games on Thursday.
The title game will be on March 5 at 3:00 p.m. MT to determine the winner, and the No. 3 seed Buffs will be looking for their first Pac-12 championship.
The Buffs are going to face the winner of No. 6 USC and No. 11 Oregon State, and that could be a tough game, although Colorado’s NCAA Tournament bid is secured for the time being.

The good news for Colorado is that its last two losses of the year came to Arizona and Stanford, and the Buffs wouldn’t play either program until the title game. CU had won five straight before losing those two games, although they also lost to USC on Jan. 29 by 17 points in Boulder.
If the Buffs beat either USC or Oregon State, they would then face either No. 2 Utah, No. 10 Cal or No. 7 Washington State in the semifinals. No. 4 Arizona and No. 1 Stanford sit as the top two teams on the other side of the bracket.
It all begins on Wednesday, and Colorado’s first game will be Thursday night at 9:30 p.m. MT on the Pac-12 Network.
