The Brooklyn Nets overcame their tough test on Tuesday to shock the Milwaukee Bucks 119-116 on Tuesday. They have another challenge ahead of them on Wednesday as they get set to take on the Boston Celtics.
Both teams are on the second day of a back-to-back, though the Celtics are coming off a 112-106 loss to the Heat.
This is the third matchup between Brooklyn and Boston this year. After the Celtics won their first meeting on the day before Thanksgiving, the Nets did not lose to Boston again before the NBA’s hiatus — Caris LeVert’s 51-point performance at the TD Garden being the last time the two teams squared off.
Brooklyn also won’t have to game plan for Kemba Walker. The Celtics have been monitoring the guard’s knee and will keep him out of this contest, having logged 27 minutes against the Heat on Tuesday.
Here’s the rest of the roster Boston is working with in the Disney bubble:
- Jaylen Brown
- Carsen Edwards
- Tacko Fall
- Javonte Green
- Gordon Hayward
- Enes Kanter
- Romeo Langford
- Semi Ojeleye
- Vincent Poirier
- Marcus Smart
- Jayson Tatum
- Daniel Theis
- Brad Wanamaker
- Tremont Waters
- Robert Williams
- Grant Williams
As for Brooklyn, Caris LeVert (left thigh contusion) and Joe Harris (right hamstring and lower back tightness) are probable for Wednesday, but Jamal Crawford (left hamstring strain) is out.
After missing Tuesday’s win to rest, Jarrett Allen was not on Brooklyn’s injury report ahead of their game against Boston.
