Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks are a tough enough matchup as it is, for anyone. For the Brooklyn Nets, a win against them on Tuesday would be nothing short of miraculous.
On top of the heavy hitters Brooklyn lost ahead of the restart — Spencer Dinwiddie, DeAndre Jordan, Taurean Prince and Wilson Chandler, in addition to the injured Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving — the Nets will be without their three best players in the Disney bubble on Tuesday.
Caris LeVert is out with a left thigh contusion. Joe Harris is out with right hamstring and lower back tightness. Jarrett Allen will sit out to rest.
Additionally, Jamal Crawford (conditioning) is questionable.
Whereas, the Bucks are expected to get back Eric Bledsoe and Pat Connaughton, who haven’t played in the Disney bubble after they both tested positive for COVID-19 in mid-July. According to Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, neither was on the Bucks’ injury report.
Wesley Matthews, however, was. He’s out due to right calf soreness.
Here’s the rest of the roster Brooklyn will see on Tuesday:
- Thanasis Antetokounmpo
- Sterling Brown
- Donte DiVincenzo
- George Hill
- Ersan Ilyasova
- Kyle Korver
- Brook Lopez
- Robin Lopez
- Frank Mason
- Khris Middleton
- Marvin Williams
- D.J. Wilson
The Nets and Bucks played once before the league’s hiatus. Milwaukee won that matchup 117-97.
