PREVIEW: Nets begin NBA restart vs. Magic

For the first time since March, the Brooklyn Nets are about to play a game that counts.

The NBA officially began its restart on Thursday, with the Utah Jazz knocking off the New Orleans Pelicans 106-104 and the Los Angeles Lakers winning their first matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, 103-101.

Now the NBA has three times the amount of games it did on Thursday, with the Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic kicking off the festivities on Friday.

With the Nets only leading the Magic by half a game in the Eastern Conference Standings entering the restart, this game is immensely important for both teams.

Brooklyn and Orlando met up twice before the NBA went on hiatus back in March. After winning the first meeting by 12 points, the Magic won their second 2019-20 game against the Nets by two points.

Here’s who Orlando has on their roster for the restart:

  • D.J. Augustin
  • Mo Bamba
  • Khem Birch
  • Michael Carter-Williams
  • Gary Clark
  • James Ennis III
  • Evan Fournier
  • Melvin Frazier Jr.
  • Markelle Fultz
  • Aaron Gordon
  • Jonathan Isaac
  • Wes Iwundu
  • BJ Johnson
  • Vic Law
  • Terrence Ross
  • Nikola Vucevic

Jamal Crawford (conditioning) is questionable for Friday’s game. Rodions Kurucs (left hip contusion) is probable.
