Pregame injury report: Michigan football gets some reinforcements back against Ohio State

Let’s go! #GoBlue

COLUMBUS, Ohio — It’s almost time for another Michigan football game and this one is the biggest one of the year.

The undefeated Wolverines made the trek to Columbus to take on undefeated Ohio State. No. 3 Michigan is the underdog for the first time this season and for good reason. Ohio State is rolling into the contest not only undefeated but it is ranked No. 2 in the College Football Playoff.

If Michigan is going to upset the Buckeyes on Saturday, the Wolverines need to get some reinforcements back that haven’t played.

We have some good news. Both running backs Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards are dressed and rearing to play against the Buckeyes. Corum went down last week against Illinois in the first half but managed to come back in the second to take one carry before exiting the game. The No. 2 touchdown scorer in the nation will look to give it a go against Ohio State and so will his backup Edwards.

Michigan will also get tight end Luke Schoonmaker and WR A.J. Henning back for Ohio State. Schoonmaker hasn’t played since Rutgers and the last time Henning saw the field was against the Cornhuskers.

Offensive lineman Trevor Keegan will make his return to the lineup on Saturday, as will edge rusher, Mike Morris.

Here is the full injury report against the Buckeyes.
