With kickoff for Clemson’s fourth game of the season at Wake Forest just under 24 hours away, there is a lot of buzz surrounding which ACC powerhouse will come out on top and remain undefeated following tomorrows matchup.
The Tigers come into Saturday’s contest at Truist Field with a perfect 3-0 record while the Demon Deacons also sport a perfect record ahead of the noon kickoff.
Clemson looks to return several key defensive starters to the lineup on Saturday including Tyler Davis, Bryan Bresee, Tre Williams and Xavier Thomas while the offense looks to put on a dominant showing with starting quarterback DJ Uiagalelei at the helm.
Here’s a look at the pregame buzz surrounding the ranked matchup on Twitter:
#5 Clemson and # 21 Wake Forest tomorrow. One of Clemsons biggest tests of the year. Wake Forest is a very good football team we should have a showdown #collegegameday

Last week against Liberty, Wake Forest snapped the ball 16 times in the red zone.
11 were runs. They combined to gain 8 yards. 4 went for a loss of yardage.
Yikes.

Dave Clawson: "Clemson's defense has been the gold standard in the ACC and the country for the last 5-7 years. It starts with the defensive line, a lot of those guys will be playing on Sundays." #Clemson pic.twitter.com/jwsXWLWkyo

A play Clemson fans will never forget. The late Gaines Adams sparked a dramatic comeback when he blew up a field goal and returned it 66-yards for a TD, sparking 24 unanswered point to help the Tigers beat Wake Forest 27-17. pic.twitter.com/9NbOSbd334— Austin Pendergist (@apthirteen) September 23, 2022
This stat has blown my mind all week long. Fair chance this weekend brings about a long-awaited reunion up front. https://t.co/NkR3htvVLh

#Clemson soph Will Shipley, ACC RB of week, is 1 TD shy of nat'l lead and has shared scoring opportunities w/ Pace & Mafah. In last 15 years Shipley, Lamar Jackson & Malik Cunningham are only ACC players to post 2 TDs in each of first 3 games. #ALLIN

Clawson on Clemson: โTheyโre much improved on offense. The QB is playing much better. Will Shipley, I havenโt seen all the tailbacks in the league, but I canโt imagine anyoneโs better.โ

The last time the #Clemson – Wake Forest game was within single digits – 2011, a 31-28 Clemson win in Death Valley. WF has covered in 19 of the last 32 meetings. WAKE FOREST +7 vs Clemson
Clemson has been unimpressive against a pitiful schedule so far after losing both coordinators and I think they are wildly overrated. Clemson beat up on Wake last year but the Tigers should not be laying a TD in a road game vs a ranked team
