After setting an initial 53-man roster on Tuesday, the Denver Broncos can begin building a 17-player practice squad after waiver claims are processed on Wednesday morning. Here’s our guess at how the practice squad could take out.

Broncos practice squad prediction

  1. RB Tyler Badie
  2. FB Michael Burton
  3. WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey
  4. WR Jalen Virgil
  5. WR Michael Bandy
  6. TE Thomas Yassmin
  7. OL Calvin Throckmorton
  8. C Sam Mustipher
  9. DL Angelo Blackson
  10. DL Elijah Garcia
  11. DL Matt Henningsen
  12. OLB Dondrea Tillman
  13. OLB Thomas Incoom
  14. ILB Jonas Griffith
  15. CB Reese Taylor
  16. CB Art Green
  17. DB Quinton Newsome

Other notable candidates: WR Brandon Johnson, WR David Sills, WR Phillip Dorsett, DB Kaleb Hayes and DB Omar Brown.

All of the players in our projection were cut by the Broncos earlier this week, but Denver can also obviously target players cut by other clubs as well. Two players to keep an eye on are fullback Jack Colletto and linebacker Easton Gibbs.

We will track all of the team’s roster moves today on Broncos Wire.
