Penn State is coming off a solid showing in the 2022 NFL draft by having a Big Ten-leading eight players selected by NFL teams. Naturally, those draft picks leave behind some big shoes to fill for the 2022 Nittany Lions, and figuring out who will take over those key roles is a big task for head coach [autotag]James Franklin[/autotag] and his staff heading into an important year for the program.
Coming off a second straight mediocre season and going .500 over the past two seasons has Penn State embracing an opportunity to redeem themselves in the fall, and the schedule gives them plenty of opportunities to do so right out of the gate. The recent spring football practices may have helped figure a few things out about who replaces NFL draft picks in the fall, but the summer will continue on with a few positions still to be ironed out.
