Ohio State’s Chase Young returned to the world of college football Saturday during his team’s game against the Penn State Nittany Lions and did what he does best — get after the quarterback.
Young, fresh off an absence over an off-field matter, didn’t need long to remind folks why he’s arguably the top player in the upcoming 2020 NFL draft.
The star pass-rusher tallied one sack on the day and was often collapsing pockets in Ohio State’s 28-17 win.
Rest assured the Washington Redskins had eyes on the performance. The way it is lining up now, a quarterback-needy team like Cincinnati could take a quarterback first overall, letting Young slip to the Redskins.
Young made some history in the process:

And some notables praised his performance:

Even with Ryan Kerrigan and Montez Sweat on the roster, Young is a no-brainer of a pick if he’s there.
