Over the years, Auburn has made a living in the transfer portal. They have landed a handful of division one transfers.
Looking at the quarterback room, the team has just one member that didn’t transfer in. T.J. Finley joined the team last year after spring football. Both Zach Calzada and Robby Ashford transferred in following the 2021 college football season.
Although we are approaching the Tigers’ A-Day game this upcoming Saturday, there are still players entering the transfer portal.
There is no conclusive reasoning behind it, but most would assume that they were likely buried on their previous team’s depth chart. Like other teams, Auburn will also likely see some departures once the spring has concluded. If that’s the case, it will create even more opportunities for the Tigers to land a player in the transfer portal.
