Round 5: Oklahoma State CB A.J. Green

Not to be confused with the wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, Green is a talented cornerback prospect out of Oklahoma State. Listed at 6-1 and 202 pounds, Green is a long press-coverage cornerback. He’s not going to beat anyone with his speed, but he has a good punch to disrupt route timing at the line of scrimmage. He does a good job of staying in phase despite his lack of speed.

Green did meet with Chiefs coaches at the 2020 NFL Scouting combine, having an opportunity to break down film with some of the staff. He could be a solid developmental candidate for Kansas City to target at pick No. 177.
